Micro Contacts Inc. has published a full color, 16 page brochure describing its capabilities in designing and producing small electromechanical components for its clients and customers. It provides an overview of its technological capabilities and its operations including tooling, molding, wire brush fabrication, precision stamping, finishing and assembling. The publication also profiles Micro Contacts' history and details its design engineering and material science capabilities. Included on the inside back cover is a flow chart.  The brochure leads the reader from an account of Micro Contacts' leadership in miniaturized, and sometimes microscopic applications, through a portrayal of the sizes and tolerances involved in producing tiny stampings, moldings and assemblies. The company is described as an engineering-based, solutions oriented organization, rather than an ordinary manufacturer of component parts. A case history of its innovation and development with automotive airbag sensors and their 10-year evolution is provided. Other examples of Micro Contacts engineered solutions as well as descriptions of the company's aptitudes and its' processing departments follow.
Micro Contacts serves customers in the United States, Europe and Asia. Its industry base includes automotive, electronics, security, medical, military and others such as telecommunications.  Micro Contacts Inc. was established in 1963 and now has two facilities, in Hicksville, NY and Warwick, RI. Both sites together, total over 50,000 square feet. Begun as a small job shop, the company now employs more than 150 people. The Hicksville facility is devoted to design engineering and manufacturing. Its Rhode Island plant is engaged in tool and die making for the New York headquarters.
